Night Light Entertainment was founded in November of 2003 by Dave McDonald.  Dave worked with a DJ company while in college in Pennsylvania entertaining at weddings, company events, amusement parks, colleges, and the like...  After graduating in May of 2003 and beginning a teaching career in August of that summer in Culpeper, Dave had the wise idea to start a business!  After a lot of thought, there was only one thing to do..."Mom, Dad...can I have some money?" 

Yep, that's how it all started!  With a small loan from his parents, support from a wonderful, patient woman (now his wife) and a lot of hassle from the bank's loan department, Dave picked a name, bought some gear, and started Night Light Entertainment. 

Over the years, the quality and amount of equipment has changed and grown (for the better), the experiences have been aplenty and the dream of the business continues to thrive.

At one point, Dave rented Moonbounces out to people for parties and such...this took a lot of time away from the main focus of NLE...DJing.  The moonbounces rentals have ceased and NLE can focus fully on DJing.  Rest assured, NLE carries proper liability insurance for the DJ aspect of the business, as well.

Along with carrying appropriate insurance, NLE has legally trademarked and copyrighted the company name and logo.  Dave has strived to get this company up and running the right way.  Djing is not a job - it's a joy - and one that Dave will be able to enjoy for many, many years to come. 

Dave's love for the company and enthusiasm while entertaining have helped the business grow/morph into what it is today.  When being a DJ, there is a need to have 'people skills' and when running a company, there is a need to offer service.  Dave vowed to offer that service to people through a friendly demeanor and a professional attitude.
